Etixx - Quick Step (EQS)

Mark Cavendish – his name stands for sprint. Cavendish intends to use the Tour de Suisse to put the finishing touches to his preparations for the Tour de France. That's because he still has an account to settle. He had to give up early in the 2014 Tour de France after crashing in the sprint on the first stage in Harrogate and injuring his right shoulder.

Mark Cavendish could well be bringing his "sprint train" with him to the Tour de Suisse. This includes riders like the German Tony Martin, wearer of the leader's jersey from the first to the eighth stage last year, as well as the Australian Mark Renshaw, the Italian Matteo Trentin (winner of the 6th stage in 2014) and the Belgian Tom Boonen.

Etixx produces nutritional supplements; Quick Step is a company marketing floor coverings. The team is managed by Patrick Lefevere. The former professional rider has now been active in the sport for forty years.
