Tinkoff - Saxo (TCS)

A sprint victory in neon yellow? Peter Sagan likes the sprints on the Tour de Suisse, particularly as he has been one of the most successful riders on the Tour, with 9 stage wins in the last four years. This year, the Slovak is riding in the neon yellow colours of his new employer Tinkoff-Saxo. Russian Oleg Tinkov's crew is broadly based, having riders like Alberto Contador, Rafal Majka, Michael Roger and Ivan Basso at its disposal, or even the Swiss rider Oliver Zaugg.

The neon yellow team has high ambitions. Following some internal turbulence and the dismissal of former team owner Bjarne Riis, peace should finally now return at Tinkoff-Saxo. But they are still short of wins. The pressure on Slovak sprint star Peter Sagan is correspondingly high. The pressure on him will greatest on the fourth stage, when the route of the Tour leads past the castle belonging to Lars Seier Christensen, the second biggest sponsor and owner of Saxo Bank, to the finish in Schwarzenbach (SG).
