7th stage: Eschenbach / Atzmännig - Arosa
La 7e étape s’élancera de la petite station de sports d’été et d’hiver d’Atzmännig pour traverser les belles collines verdoyantes de l’Appenzell.
A partir de Coire, le parcours redevient alpin et abrupt. Depuis la première arrivée au sommet à Arosa en 1946, l’Obersee a souvent accueilli le Tour de Suisse, pour le plus grand bonheur de tous. Cette année encore, les aspirants à la victoire au général auront à cœur de s’illustrer lors de l’arrivée au sommet dans la station de villégiature d’Arosa.

Eschenbach - A breath of fresh air close to the city
With around 9,400 inhabitants, Eschenbach is part of the Linth region and is beautifully situated between Lake Zurich and Lake Walen. The community is shaped by a sense of both tradition and progress. Participation in village life opens up a diverse array of opportunities for family, work and leisure. Atzmännig, the leisure park on the outskirts of Zurich, offers fun and thrills in the heart of nature. Arosa - diverse and magical

Be it a relaxed walk, a long-distance hike or a family tour: on over 320km of marked hiking trails everyone will find the matching hike for the perfect summer day in the mountains.
In addition the region also provides a wide range of biking routes for every level. With or without the use of cable cars, with muscle power or electrical power, with mountain bikes or cycling bikes: various well signposted biking tours and numerous GPS tours lead bikers to the most beautiful and remote places of the region.
During the summer the Arosa cable cars also offer adventurous rides to the Weisshorn and the Hörnli peaks. The Urden aerial tramway is also in operation during the peak season. Furthermore, every guest staying overnight benefits from the all-inclusive offer which comprises free usage of the Arosa cable cars and many other leisure activities.
In summer 2018 the Arosa Bear Park far above the village will open its doors. Up to five bears which were saved by the animal protection organisation FOUR PAWS will be able to live a species-appropriate life in a beautiful environment.
