Since 2017, the Katusha-Alpecin team has been riding under a Swiss licence. And the team also has a Swiss rider on board with Reto Hollenstein.

Katusha-Alpecin is home to Simon Spilak, reigning Tour de Suisse champion and two-time overall winner (2015 & 2017). Last year, the Slovenian won the seventh stage to Sölden in impressive fashion.

Two German heavyweights – Marcel Kittel and Tony Martin – are also contracted to the team. The sprinter Kittel has already won 14 Tour de France stages, while Martin has now worn the rainbow jersey as time trial world champion in four different seasons.
