Mitchelton - Scott (MTS)

Swiss classics specialist Michael Albasini is the only Swiss rider on the Australian team Mitchelton-SCOTT.

Last year, Chris Juul-Jensen caused a sensation with his narrow solo victory in Gstaad.

The route of this year’s Tour de Suisse appears tailor-made for the 25-year-old British twins Simon and Adam Yates.

Simon Yates won three mountain stages in Italy at the Giro last season, before going on to win the Vuelta in Spain in autumn.

With his laid-back nature and winning smile, the Colombian Esteban Chaves, who has already finished on the podium at the Giro and the Vuelta, is a popular contestant at the Tour de Suisse. In 2014, he secured a TdS stage on a summit finish at the tender age of 24.
Mikel Nieve, who has two top 10 finishes to his name in the overall standings, should also be looking forward to the tour.
