Lotto Soudal (LTS)
Will Lotto Soudal appear with German champion and sprinter André Greipel? Will he use the Tour de Suisse to sharpen up his form against Mark Cavendish for the Tour de France? If so, Greipel will certainly bring Marcel Sieberg along too. The 32-year-old German is part of the sprint train of Lotto Soudal and at 1.98 m he is one of the tallest riders in the peloton.
However the focus is on other riders in the Belgian team for a stage win or the general classification. For example the 29-year-old Belgian Thomas De Gendt won the 222.8 kilometre 7th stage from Vaduz (Lie) to Serfaus (A) in 2011. The old hands who can always deliver a result also include Jürgen van den Broeck from Belgium.
The Lotto Soudal team ride in a mostly red jersey with a white panel on the front and the team logo in black. The title sponsors are the Belgian lottery company and Soudal N.V., a company which makes sealants and adhesives, polyurethane foam, building protection materials and sealing tapes.
