Zug is small but beautiful. Zug is compact and central. Zug is at the edge of the mountains. Zug has two lakes, Lake Aegeri and Lake Zug. And the most beautiful sunset. Zug is famous for its cherries and cherry torte. And for its business community. Zug is a place worth living in. And for visiting. Zug is fun.
The canton of Zug is part of the Swiss centrepiece and will be the start HUB of the Tour de Suisse from 2015 to 2017. The start/finish area will be in Baar in 2016. This town has been hosting the Tour de Suisse since 2001, when it was the backdrop for Gianluca Bortolami's third stage win that allowed him to take the yellow leader's jersey from Lance Armstrong.
