Moudon - Leukerbad
In Moudon, the road coach will start with his group to the longest stage of the 84th Tour de Suisse in front of the impressive Gothic church of Saint-Etienne. The peloton climbs the Col des Mosses via Bulle from the Gruyère side, as the pro riders did three years ago on the stage to Villars-Sur-Ollon. After a rapid descent, stage 5 passes the headquarters of the International Cycling Federation (UCI) in Aigle. The demanding ascent traverses an impressive number of hairpin bends to Bratsch and Albinen and on to Leukerbad. For the professional riders this stage will mix the overall classification. Therefore, an exciting final of the professional race is waiting for the Challenge participants after passing their test. For those, who participate on the last four stages, the NEW Tour de Suisse Challenge will start on this stage.
