Bruno’s Best is now called Brunos. The recipes and taste of its salad dressings and herb butters remain as good as ever. The family business has two reasons to celebrate: 20 years of Brunos and 10 years of partnership with the Tour de Suisse.

Longstanding cooperation
Brunos has been an official and proud partner of the Tour de Suisse since 2012. A lot has happened in the last decade: for years, Brunos honoured the most active rider in the field, and the company even crowned the stage winner in 2019 – with a golden salad dressing bottle each time. Brunos also participated in the digital version of the Tour de Suisse in 2020. In addition, the salad dressing buffet in the VIP area was always a popular meeting place for guests. After two years of interruption, spectators on the edge of the track can once again look forward to a delicious surprise from the advertising convoy. As in the past, Brunos will distribute 25,000 healthy portions of salad with its tasty sauce on this year’s tour.

Family business as a success story
The Swiss market leader in refrigerated salad dressings is a family success story: at the Sand country inn in Kerns, owned by the Arnold family, there was a salad dressing that quickly became known far beyond the region. Production was soon professionalised. Today, 40 employees work for Brunos at its location in Sarnen. The family business is currently run by the second generation: siblings Michael, Rony, Evelyne and Daniel Arnold.

What is Brunos’ recipe for success? The answer is simple: the salad dressings and herb butter have a home-made taste. Instead of adding artificial thickeners and preservatives, the company relies on quality, freshness and regional sourcing for its raw materials and production.

Involvement in sports and social events
In addition to the Tour de Suisse, Brunos has further involvement in the sports sector with its own youth development programme “Brunos Talents” and support for top wrestler Joel Wicki. What is more, thousands of children and young people benefit from Brunos’ salad dressing sponsorship every year in over 100 school and sports camps throughout Switzerland. The family business also regularly supplies social institutions and food banks with salad dressings, and supports non-profit organisations such as “Water for Water” and the “Sternschnuppe” foundation.
