All riders taking part in the Tour de Suisse dream of the yellow jersey.
The Jersey
After sponsoring the Mountain Prize Jersey from 2010 to 2012, Vaudoise Insurance made the move to Presenting Partner and has presented the Leader’s Jersey of the Tour de Suisse since 2013. To date this has produced a strong and positive collaboration! The colour yellow has a great tradition in cycling and attracts attention from fans and the peloton. This year, Leaders in both the women and the men’s events will be wearing the yellow Jersey of Vaudoise Insurance. The Jersey, made by the Italian brand Santini, stands out in the peloton and ensures the Leader gets the attention they deserve.
The Favourites
The yellow Jersey of Vaudoise has been worn by some of cycling’s greats in the past such as Fabian Cancellara, Peter Sagan, Rui Costa, Tony Martin, Richie Porte and, more recently in 2019, Egan Bernal. But who will have the honour of wearing the Vaudoise Leader’s Jersey at the end of the Tour de Suisse this year? There are growing signs that there could be a first time winner of the Tour de Suisse. It will definitely be a first in the women’s event. Perhaps even a Swiss woman in the yellow Jersey? The following gallery features a selection of the riders who are likely to compete for the Vaudoise Jersey this year. *
* Plan to start at TdS 2021.
