The fourth stage of the 85th Tour de Suisse will be decided in Brunnen (SZ).

It is not the first time that Brunnen has hosted the Tour de Suisse. In 1998 the start took place in Brunnen (after Morschach had been the stage the day before), and in 2007 the international professional field of the TdS also started in Brunnen. In 2015, a major storm prevented another cycling festival in Brunnen. The Tour de Suisse is all the more looking forward to returning to the foot of the Mythen in summer 2022.

«We are looking forward to the major event to put the Schwyz basin in the international light. As a national sporting event, the Tour de Suisse is an ideal match for the strategic orientation of the Mythen adventure region as an outdoor paradise ”, says Giacomo Garaventa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mythen Adventure Region. «The aim of the stage arrival is to organize a folk festival for young and old. Cycling is one of the few sporting events that comes directly to the population » enthuses Kurt Betschart, designated managing director of the Mythen adventure region. Therefore, the local OC is planning a series of side events around the finish in Brunnen.
