Swiss high tech of top quality awaits the overall winners of the TdS Challenge. The winner of the main category will receive an exclusive wheelset from DT Swiss worth 3,200 Swiss francs.
The development team of DT Swiss put two years of work into the wheels “RC 38 SPLINE Mon Chasseral”. Every wheel component has been developed with Swiss precision to ensure the highest DT Swiss quality. From the hub to the spokes to the rims: Every last part has been analyzed. “Our detailed work results in a unique wheelset of highest quality”, says Marketing Manager Alexander Schmitt.
The “RC 38 SPLINE Mon Chasseral” is a set of extremely light mountain wheels and is perfectly suited for long pass rides and all adventures involving many meters of altitude. At the WorldTour level, the Swiss IAM Cycling Team, which has since been dissolved, recently used the uphill wheels. Thus the Colombian Jarlinson Pantano won the 15th stage of the 2016 Tour de France on this wheel set. The stage led from Bourg-en-Bresse over five passes including the Grand Colombier to Culoz. Colombian Jarlinson Pantano, who now rides for the Trek-Segafredo team, also won the final stage from La Punt to Davos at last year’s Tour de Suisse.
