Those who make up their minds quickly can register by 31 January for CHF 69 (one stage) or for the entire TdS Challenge weekend for CHF 124!
Ride the original Tour de Suisse route once, including the time trial start ramp? Once racing over the TdS finish line like a cycling pro to applause? Or put on the yellow jersey on the podium? All this can come true at the TdS Challenge, because here the hobby cyclists can experience professional cycling up close and personal.
The registration portal for the TdS-Challenge weekend 2019 is now open.
We are looking forward to welcoming many familiar, but also new faces at the starting line next year! Of course there will be an overall ranking in 2019 for those participants who start on both stages of the Tour de Suisse Challenge.
As you know it from the TdS-Challenge from the last four years, you have the opportunity to compete on the original tracks of the cycling pros. Every participant will benefit from the well-rehearsed and highly professional race service of the Tour de Suisse, including material trolleys and catering on the track and completely closed roads.
In 2019, the Tour de Suisse Challenge will take place exclusively at the starting hub in Langnau im Emmental.
On Saturday morning the amateur and hobby riders will start on the official TdS time trial start ramp for the flat individual time trial course. You have the unique opportunity to compare your own time with that of the professionals in the afternoon.
The second stage of the TdS Challenge 2019 will lead the following day – as with the professionals – over the hilly circuit, including the Chuderhüsi, which is known beyond Langnau.
The TdS Challenge gives ambitious participants the opportunity to take part in a varied and demanding bike race under highly professional conditions. At the same time, David Loosli (Sports Director TdS) was able to design the stage in such a way that even the pleasure-seeker gets his money’s worth.
The drive through the iconic hilly landscape of the Emmental makes the TdS Challenge an unforgettable experience for everyone.
As always, each participant will receive a TdS-Challenge starter pack, including a jersey in the TdS-Challenge design.
