Those who make up their minds quickly can register by 31 January for CHF 69 (one stage); CHF 124 (two stages) or for all three stages for CHF 179!
Ride the original Tour de Suisse route once, including route protection and time trial start ramp? Put on the yellow jersey on the podium? All this can come true at the TdS Challenge, because here the hobby cyclists can experience the professional cycling sport skin up close.
“The TdS Challenge is not only much bigger than all the other amateur & hobby races in Switzerland, but also very attractive with the completely closed roads and original tracks of the professionals”, enthuses David Heller, who was able to book two stages for himself this year.
The registration portal for all 3 TdS-Challenge stages in 2018 is now open.
We are looking forward to welcoming many familiar, but also new faces at the starting line next year! Of course there will be an overall ranking in 2018 for those participants who complete all 3 stages of the Tour de Suisse Challenge.
As you know it from the TdS-Challenge from the last 3 years, you have the possibility to compete on the original tracks of the cycling pros on 3 days. Every participant will enjoy the well-rehearsed and highly professional race service of the Tour de Suisse, including material trolleys and catering on the track.
After 3 years in the Lake Zug region, the first weekend of the TdS-Challenge 2018 will take place in the canton of Thurgau, exactly in Frauenfeld, where the first two stages of the TdS-Challenge 2018 will be held.
You can especially look forward to the innovation in the first stage. We have listened to your feedback and have not done a prologue, but a time trial over 18.3 km on an attractive course around Frauenfeld.
The second stage of the TdS Challenge 2018 will lead the following day – just like the professionals – over the hilly circuit in and around Frauenfeld. This allows the ambitious among you to compete with the lap times of the pros.
The final weekend with the 3rd stage leads the TdS Challenge to beautiful Ticino with start and finish in Bellinzona.
The 3 stages of the Tour de Suisse Challenge 2018 offer the ambitious participant the opportunity to cycle under highly professional conditions. At the same time, David Loosli was able to design the stages of the Tour de Suisse Challenge 2018 in such a way that even the pleasure-seeker will still feel comfortable on the stages to make the great experience TdS-Challenge an experience.
New in 2018 is also the compilation of the TdS-Challenge starter package, according to the motto “from 3 to 1, every participant will receive a jersey in the TdS-Challenge design (no matter how many stages he participates in). So we could make the entry fees for the 2018 event much more attractive for you!
