“That was awesome! I’m 67 now and cycling has always been an important part of my life. When I was younger, I did the big Tour at the Alpenbrevet, from Andermatt over all the passes with a lot of altitude, but that’s what it’s all about! In order to be able to enjoy the beautiful moments in life, you have to be fit and healthy and today was such a moment for me, today a lifelong dream came true! Of course, I always followed the Tour de Suisse when it was near me and always stood at the side of the road, but until now I never could get as close as I did today, that’s something I’ve only dreamed of. That was a great idea of yours! I was incredibly excited when I saw this opportunity on the website. My friends and family have told me I’m crazy to do something like this, but I don’t care. My brother also wanted to take part, but by then it was too late and I had already secured the experience. Thanks to everyone involved, you really made my lifelong dream come true!”
