Chicco d’Oro will crown the King of the Mountains
The family-run business, which is based in Balerna, offers a wide variety of coffee products, from roasted beans through to ground coffee and capsules for various coffee machines. The traditional company roasts and produces its range exclusively in Ticino, which allows it to pay close attention to every step of the process and ensure the highest possible quality.
The company is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year, and is strongly represented in the retail, gastronomy and business sectors in Switzerland.
Last season, the Ticino-based business joined the Tour de Suisse as its official coffee supplier, giving it a first taste of working with the tour.
For the current season, Chicco d’Oro will present the hotly-contested King of the Mountains jersey to the leader of the mountains classification.

And Chicco d’Oro will have a natural and refreshing source of energy on hand for the warm days in June – its iced coffee «105», which will help riders and spectators alike to climb every mountain.
