EBM to become a premium partner of the Tour de Suisse
As organiser and overall marketer of the Tour de Suisse, InfrontRingier Sports & Entertainment Switzerland AG is delighted to welcome EBM (Genossenschaft Elektra Birseck) as an additional premium partner of the tour. The collaboration has initially been planned for three years (2018 – 2020).
EBM is a Swiss energy provider based in Münchenstein (Basel-Landschaft), and has been active as a private cooperative in the energy sector in Switzerland and France since 1897. The company offers its around 170,000 customers attractive products and services in the areas of grid, power supply and local heating supply, promoting renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Its involvement with the Tour de Suisse is the energy company’s first time providing national sport sponsorship, and it will use the Tour de Suisse’s attractive platform for experience-oriented customer retention strategies.

EBM will also be active at the Tour de Suisse this year with the younger generation. At the EBM Kids Challenge, the young ones will be first across the finish line – at selected stages, children aged three to seven will be invited to join in a ‘sprint’ on balance bikes in front of the crowds. The company’s involvement this year will be rounded off with its presence at the Kids World and presenting on TdS TV.
