Lotto Soudal (LTS)
The Belgian team Lotto Soudal rides in a white jersey featuring red shoulders and the team name printed across the chest in black.
In the form of Tiesj Bennot (winner of the Strade Bianche 2018) and Tim Wellens, the Belgian team has two experienced classics specialists on board.
And with Thomas de Gentd, the Belgians also have a real expert for breakaways and risky solo attacks within their ranks. De Gentd has already won a stage in all of the big tours.
Belgium’s Victor Campenaert (third at the 2018 World Championship) is another rider hoping to make a name for himself this spring. The time trial specialist is planning to break Bradley Wiggins’ hour world record.
The Australian Adam Hansen, on the other hand, is known for his engineering expertise and passion for tinkering. He was already re-sewing the team jerseys himself years ago to make them fit more snugly. The team outfitter eventually involved him in the development process. Hansen was one of the first sprinters to wear a skinsuit. And he has also been wearing an impressive home-made cycling shoe for the past few seasons, including at last season’s Tour de Suisse.
