On Wednesday, 9 June 2021, the start of the 4th stage of the Tour de Suisse 2021 will take place in St. Urban. The international field of cyclists will start in front of the 18th century baroque monastery of St. Urban and head toward western Switzerland. This marks the end of the Tour’s time in the Lucerne hinterland.
START
Stage 4
Gstaad
In 2021, Gstaad will be both a finish and a starting point of the Tour. Before the riders reach the finish of stage 4 at the airfield in Gstaad, the Simmental and the climb to Saanenmöser await them. Already in 2018 it was demonstrated how exciting a finish there can be, when the race was only decided in the last few metres. On 10 June 2021, the starting signal will be given in the picturesque centre of Gstaad as the Tour heads towards Leukerbad.
