As in the last 2 editions of the Tour de Suisse, a selection of the Swiss National Team will also compete alongside the world elite this year.
This is an accompanying measure defined by Swiss Cycling in Autumn 2018 in connection with the 2024 Road World Championships in Zurich.
Swiss Cycling’s participation was already a success in its first edition: Matteo Badilatti and Fabian Lienhard, who wore the jersey with the white cross on the back in 2019, were hired by foreign professional teams for the 2020 season.
Last year, Joel Suter and Simon Pellaud were also able to prove themselves in the spotlight.
In addition to track specialist and breakaway expert Claudio Imhof, young riders Yannis Voisard, Robin Froidevaux, Lukas Rüegg and Roland Thalmann are excited to wear the national kit.
