TEAM QHUBEKA ASSOS

Team-Data by IMS

The rider list can still change up to 24 hours before the Tour de Suisse 2021. The list is therefore still provisional.

The South African team centred around the non-profit organisation “Qhubeka”, which donates bicycles as part of its charity project, has been on the road with a cycling team since 2008.

With the Swiss cycling clothing manufacturer Assos and the bike manufacturer BMC from Grenchen, two Swiss companies are also involved for the 2021 season.
Two Swiss professional cyclists will also start for Qhubeka; Kilian Frankiny from Valais and the young Mauro Schmid, who just won a stage in his Giro debut.

The team’s figureheads are the current European champion Giacomo Nizzolo, Fabio Aru and Domenico Pozzovivo.
Pozzovivo would certainly like to celebrate a second TdS stage win in June and build on his 2017 triumph in the rain at La Punt.
The Colombian Sergio Henao (winner of Paris-Nice 2017) is also planning to start at the TdS 2021.
