The Adventure Region Mythen is located in the heart of Switzerland, between Lake Zurich and Lake Lucerne. Thanks to its central location with short distances to the centres of Zurich, Lucerne, and Zug as well as well-developed infrastructure, the region is the ideal starting point for the stage destination Brunnen of the Tour de Suisse.
The town of Brunnen is more than just a small-town pearl on Lake Lucerne. Brunnen offers a unique view of the Lake of Uri and the magnificent panorama of the Bauenstöcke and the Urirotstock. In the background is the grandiose backdrop of the two Mythen. The Adventure Region Mythen offers touring cyclists, mountain bikers and road racers an almost perfect training area during a fantastic and varied mountain and lake landscape. The biking and cycling offers range from easy and flat to winding tours on gravel roads, flow trails with rail transport to pass crossings with crisp descents, some of which are mean and steep. Canton Schwyz has a network of 230’000 km of cycle paths and a total of 3,611 cycle routes. In summary, the region offers almost every profile for cyclists, so that no facet of cycling is missing. An exciting race and unforgettable road bike moments are to be expected.
