Commentary David Loosli
Without a doubt the Tour de Suisse 2022 will be one of the most difficult of recent years. Though there are fewer Alpine passes to cross this year, there remains an enormous amount of altitude to conquer. The second stage to Aesch and the following stage through the Jura are particularly difficult, as are the mountain climbs on Moosalp and in Malbun. With just one time trial on the programme, there are a lot of tough race kilometres to complete.
