13 KM

Commentary by David Loosli

The time trial specialists will certainly be happy about this opener. In Einsiedeln, the athletes will complete a fast time trial course of 12.7 kilometres. This is not a classic prologue. The stage is a few kilometres too long for that. Nevertheless, I don’t expect big time gaps. Rather, the fight for the day’s victory will be a tight affair. Decisive seconds are also on the line for GC contenders.
