Team Dimension Data (DDD)
The South African team Dimension Data has been competing in the world’s highest-calibre race series, the WorldTour, since 2016.
In South African Louis Meintjes, the team has a young rider who has already cycled his way into the top 10 of the Tour de France (eighth place overall).
And Great Britain’s Ben King won two stages at the Vuelta in Spain last autumn.
Other major riders for Dimension Data include British sprinter and track rider Mark Cavendish, classics specialist Edvald Boasson Hagen from Norway and road captain Bernhard Eisel of Austria.
A new addition for the 2019 season is the young Dane Michael Valgren, who has been a household name since his Amstel Gold Race Victory.
In the form of Danilo Wyss (formerly BMC) and the young Gino Mäder, the South African team is now also home to two Swiss riders.
And two Swiss companies are also involved: the cycling apparel producers Assos and BMC.
