The women ride the same course, but complete two laps. This results in around 3,000 metres of elevation gain – making it a worthy and demanding final stage as well.
This stage clearly favours pure climbers. Here, the overall classification can be turned upside down once again – excitement is guaranteed until the very last day.

Villars–Bretaye Railway
The historic cogwheel railway connects Villars with the Bretaye plateau and offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks. It is one of the most impressive mountain experiences in the region.
Panorama of the Vaud Alps
From Villars, enjoy impressive views of the surrounding peaks and, on clear days, far across the Rhone Valley. The alpine scenery makes this location a particularly striking checkpoint.
Col de la Croix
Just a few kilometres above Villars, one of the most beautiful alpine climbs in the region awaits. The road to Col de la Croix offers winding routes, stunning views and true Tour de Suisse mountain feeling.
