Commentary David Loosli

The highest point of this year’s Tour de Suisse is on the Nufenen Pass. Will the first to the top determine the outcome of this stage? There are over 55 kilometres remaining from the top of the pass to the finish. It is quite possible that a breakaway will have a chance of winning the stage here. However, the best climbers as well as GC contenders will certainly be making themselves known on the seven-kilometre final climb to Blatten-Belalp.
